Our Current Project: “NextGen Griots”
We’re on a mission to spark the voices of young African storytellers!
NextGen Griots is our bold new pilot program, currently running in Buea, Cameroon, where we help students turn everyday life into unforgettable digital stories. Through hands-on workshops in video, photography, and storytelling, young people are capturing what matters most: family, school, faith, sports, culture, the environment, and more.
Students shape their own stories, film in their communities, and learn how to edit and produce short, impactful videos. We support them from idea to final cut, celebrate their creativity with awards, and showcase their work across our platforms.
It’s creative, fun, and deeply personal. The next generation of griots is here, and their stories deserve to be seen and heard.

Our Work in Africa
A recent report by the World Economic Forum reveals that 65% of children who start primary school today will work in job roles that do not yet exist. This is especially true in many African countries, where education systems inherited through colonialism have not been adequately updated.
In Africa, our focus is to make learning in primary and secondary schools fun and joyful for all children. We do this through innovative educational programs for students and teachers, such as our “NextGen Griots” digital storytelling initiative, and by refurbishing school infrastructure in underserved communities. We aim to create clean, safe, and modern environments where students can enjoy learning and thrive.
