Refurbishing & Construction of School Infrastructure
Africa is experiencing a rapid increase in population, with more than 60% of its people under the age of 25. Regrettably, in some parts of Africa, the existing infrastructure is struggling to keep up, leading to a drastic decline in the quality of education.
We refurbish and construct school infrastructure in localities where there is a high need. Most of these localities have a high rate of out-of-school children.
Classrooms & Libraries
In the heart of every vibrant community, classrooms and libraries stand as beacons of hope for African children. In classrooms, young minds are nurtured, dreams are kindled, and potential is unlocked. Libraries, on the other hand, are treasure troves of books and resources, offering a passport to worlds unknown.
These spaces are not just physical structures; they are sanctuaries of knowledge and gateways to empowerment, igniting curiosity, fostering a lifelong love for learning, and equipping students with the tools to shape their own destinies and contribute meaningfully to the world.
Water, Hygiene, & Sanitation (WASH) Facilities
Children deserve a healthy learning environment with easy access to safe and sustainable water, sanitation, and hygiene services. Poor hygiene and sanitation facilities in schools affect children, especially the girl child. Lack of water and school toilets is one of the reasons why school dropout is high in Sub-Saharan Africa. The lack of water and sanitation facilities in schools fosters the spread of diseases such as cholera.
We protect the rights and preserve the dignity of children by providing them with access to safe, acceptable, and reliable WASH services.
Playgrounds
Children are deprived of a wide range of learning and development opportunities when they have limited access to play facilities. Even though about seventy percent of children in Africa grow under extremely difficult circumstances, they develop an extraordinary passion for play, finding indigenous ways to engage with each other without fancy play equipment. Studies have shown that play isn’t merely fun for infants and children, it enhances all types of learning and development.
We construct playgrounds in identified schools for children between the ages of 3 to 12 to enhance their development and learning.
We make schools joyful environments for children.
We focus on innovating school infrastructure because we believe in fostering joyful learning environments where students and educators alike can thrive, where the pursuit of knowledge is accompanied by a sense of excitement, inspiration, and fulfillment.
